On September 26, 2020, in the Sheraton Saigon Hotel & Towers, South agents of Meyland and Tan A Dai Thanh Real Estate Group co-organized the first thematic event with The Water theme, to introduce MeyhomesCapital PhuQuoc Project to customers & investors.
Speaking in the event, Mr. Andrew Richard Frost – Darkhorse Architecture presented the initial inspiration to start the design. He said: “The joy of designing on an island is that there are so many special characteristics that are all compressed because you are on an island. Its all to do with the interaction with the beauty of nature and the great all year-round climate. Water has been a recurring theme and influence in our design – especially the patters of ripples. They wavey lines of water waves and vegetation following the topography are natural forms that have been influential in guiding our design.”
He also highlighted key project characteristics: Urban Tourism – Green Networks – Water Landscapes – Shopping Street Experiences – Villa Experiences.
The project has three different water zones within the landscape. The Lake Park, leading to the River Park and arriving at the Ocean Park adjacent to the sea. Facilities are positioned in the open spaces and activate the public domain. Open spaces connect them to their surrounds. Facilities can be accesses as a pedestrian and they provide interest and given different characters to their surrounds.
In summary, Darkhorse has created in Meyhome Capital Phu Quoc an unique urban environment that is dynamic, commercially active and engaged with its lush landscapes connecting the river to the sea.
